Spotify Moments Roadshow

Spotify's Moments are the foundation of the roadshow concept. Moment playlists were created to branch away from traditional genre based playlists by targeting the aspirational themes that listeners are aiming to experience.

I analyzed the six Moments used in the experience and defined with mood photography, color gradients, and motion animations. I then created a curated selection from Spotify's image library that spoke to, and highlighted the individual Moments and would be used as the 'hero' image.

Agency Analytics

Collective data insights from each agency was joined with other partner agencies in order to create data infographics that compared moment listening trends and displayed the top playlists enjoyed by all partners.

My artboards of my infographic studies:

The final product resembled an amplified speaker icon and spoke to the true essence of the brand — superior music streaming.

Motion

Motion graphics for each Moment were designed to embody the essence of each mood. Animations were then optimized to have the most experiential impact for each Moment when projected through multiple layers of translucent fabric at large scale and they became "amplified."

Below are some of my static and animated line explorations:

Modular Thinking

The entire Moments Roadshow needed to be mobile and reconfigurable to a multitude of spaces. Both the Moment Gateway and the Moment Oasis was situated front and center within a variety of venue sizes and floor plans.

Below are my scaled SketchUp drawings that were handed off to the architect and 3D render.
