Modeling in SketchUp, I created multiple logo concept iterations for Walmart's reception/lobby area. My inspiration drew upon three unique materials used in big-box stores; corrugated cardboard, perforated metal, and pressed wood. Reference images shown for inspiration and intent.

 

The final outcome was a backlit stacked cardboard solution with a pop of color with a high-gloss acrylic face.
